As for the project itself, I'm in the process of writing the final script, the story's pretty much been finalised and quite a bit of conceptual shooting has been done!
I'm not sure if it's worth doing a prequel judging by the progress on EP1 already I might still do if there's a demand for it! I promise to make the characters as true to their personalities as possible! It's the whole focus of this project.

As for the rumour of the new character, she's been cancelled in order to keep true to the RE storyline. Perhaps later on she may appear.

I can also confirm Claire for EP1 and EP2.
